Well, got to get going and sell some stuff. I have owned a k3 and now own
the ts590. Both are good radios, but in my opinion, the k3 wins on
selectivity and receiver features hands down.
The k3 has 5 crystal filter slots plus continuously adjustable dsp filters.
It also provides synchronous detection, sending of psk with the keyer
paddles, simulated stereo reception, and other audio efffects.

I have copied ssb signals down to a 1 k bandwidth, as both the shift and
bandwidth are continuously adjustable.

Like many others, I am eagerly awaiting price and ordering info on the box.
I will be purchasing a k3 again.
With the k3, ts590, and the kx3, I will have a completely accessible main,
backup, and portable setup.

I will talk with Rob about the possibility of loadable firmware modules for
other rigs.
This could be a very broadly useful product.
