Sorry about the misplaced decimal point in the frequencies mentioned. Guess
that is why I was not a math major in college! (grin)
Anyway, I appreciate your observations here.
I still wish I could find the true resonance point of the antenna.
From what others have said, most of the action on 160 is indeed between
1.800 and 1.900, except perhaps in some contests, so maybe I'm ok,
considering the nature of the antenna and what one can reasonably expect.
I'll keep working at things here and keep everyone updated.
I truly appreciate everyone's tolerating this discussion. I am learning a
lot.
