Hi All,

First, let me tell you all that I had my out patient surgery on my tumor
last Wednesday and am awaiting the pathology report now. Not sure yet how
all will come out but am hoping for the best. It's taken a little bit to
recover from the surgery but am making it back a bit at a time. Wow! You
sure don't bounce back like you could when you were in your thirties.

Second, I was listening on net today but still have my persistent noise and
really can't hear anyone well enough to check in. I could hear Lloyd's
voice and Neil's, K1NDF, but that's the size of it here.

Finally, we are getting some fairly high wind gusts here today. Just before
net we heard a loud crack but Kathy couldn't see anything really wrong when
she checked out the back door. However, a few minutes later our neighbor's
oldest boy came over to tell us a tree just on our side of the fence between
us had broken off and was laying on part of my inverted vee and on the
house. His dad brought over a saw and was able to cut up the tree in small
enough pieces that it didn't do permanent damage to either the house or
antenna for which I am grateful. It looks as if we will have some firewood
this winter since this was a nice hardwood tree and not an evergreen.

Take care all and very 73.

Kevin :)
