Here's a reply from someone on the list, sent two months ago, when I
asked a similar question, except that I'm trying to figure out if I can turn
down the volume. I haven't followed up on this yet, so I don't know anything
more to add.

yes. There is. If memory serves, it is on the side of the board facing you
if the front of the radio faces you. it is a small screwdriver pot.
I'll verify the location tonight when I get home from work and can
disassemble the 703+.
