Private company looking for virtual math tutor to work with students
grade 3-12. Must have a math degree. Classroom teaching experience is
strongly preferred. Fluency in American sign language is required. 

This is a part-time job with hours primarily in the afternoon, evening
and weekends. All curricula are furnished for you, so you don't have to
grade papers or prepare lesson plans, simply assist hearing impaired
students if they have questions. This is a virtual position, so the
location can be anywhere. Will communicate with students via webcam,
using sign language.
Compensation: depends on experience.

Achieve HighPoints (www.achieveses.com) is HighPoints Learning's
educational program for the Supplemental Educational Services (SES)
under No Child Left Behind. SES gives eligible families the opportunity
to take advantage of tutoring programs.  Students that qualify for the
reduced/free lunch program and attend an eligible SES school may qualify
for these services. The after-school tutoring services are free. They
are paid for by the child's school district as part of the NCLB.
Achieve HighPoints is a State Approved SES Provider in GA, SC, LA, KY,
VA, ID, SD, NJ, VT, and MA, and pending approval in 13 more states.
