I have the butternut 6v. When I first got it it worked great. I have had it for about 4 years and lately it seems that it doesn't work as good on 20 as does my dipole. FWhen I try to listen on 20 meters, I don't hear very much compared to when I use the dipole. Maybe it's just me but Not having any knowledge of how to adjust the vertical or what to look for that might be affecting it, that's problem the trouble with it. However with an antenna tuner I get about 90 to 94 watts out and 5 to 6 reflected and an swr of about 1.6. The vertical is just sticking in the ground. I want to get the tower up and get the counter poise for it maybe that would help to get tat antenna on the tower.
