Hi folks,
I just heard a promo on Wisconsin's Public Radio about an item in National
Public Radio's (NPR) news program this evening (Thursday, July 8).
The story will be about the depletion of the large mammal population in a
forest in Congo. If this is not newsy, and juicy enough, the story, according
to the WPR promo, will also report that the animals are being killed for their
meat. I'm really curious as to whether NPR will bother to spend more or at
least as much time discussing recent efforts at peace-making and reconciliation
in the region as they would talking about animals being killed for meat. As
the saying goes, stay tuned.
Have a great day, evening, or whatever part of the day you're in!
Katim
