Dan --

    I would beg to differ with you on the upgrading issue.  I have a Presario
4122 to which has been added 32 Mb additional standard EDO ram, an upgraded
video subsystem, an Adaptec SCSI card to which a flatbed scanner is connected,
an external USR 56K modem (the internal 33.6 is still resident and operable),
and an Intel 180 Mhz MMX OverDrive processor (this PC started with a standard
Intel P150).  All upgrades were easy enough to accomplish and all worked
properly the first time.

    Just my 2 cents worth...
