Sister Ann Marie,
To you and the Sierra Leonean community and especially the Weller family, THANK YOU for sharing this great son of Africa Big Uncle Ben with us here in Madison. To Koso and your three beautiful daughters, you are and will always be in our prayers. We are here for you. Uncle Ben was the Gentle Giant who needed no introduction yet left his mark with few words, noble deeds and great sacrifices which will always be cherished. He will remain a hero to most of us and an inspiration to many. Uncle Ben you may be gone but we will always feel your spirit and presence amongst us. Big brother, REST IN PEACE.

I'm sure Uncle Ben was smiling down on us and saying "Yes, these are my people indeed." You really confirmed, once again, that we are lucky to live in such a community and be part of what is the envy of others. So many times during the Wake on Friday and the Funeral on Saturday I heard people compliment our community in Madison and wish they could move to Madison because "you guys really take care of each other."
