Iomega has settled a class action suit regarding support for its Zip drives. I
found it quite interesting that I received a legal notice of settlement via
email. The settlement applies to everyone who purchased a Zip drive between
July 16, 1994 and September 1, 1997, and mostly requires Iomega to provide
decent on-line and automated phone tech support, among other things.

For those of you interested in reading the full text, I have made it available
at my ftp site:

ftp://ftp.connectnet.com/pub/users/r2sys/outgoing/

(Most web browsers can use the above URL -- just cut and paste it in.)
