Gluten Intolerance Group of Fargo/Moorhead will host their 6th Biannual Gluten Intolerance Education Conference
November 1-2, 2013 at the Holiday Inn, Fargo
This conference, with nationally known speakers, brings over 300 people together with a shared mission: to learn more about Celiac Disease and Gluten Intolerance and showcase over 50 gluten free food and product vendors. Also featured at this event, is a large vendor fair, which is open to the public for a small fee. This year’s conference features the following speakers:
Dr. Alessio Fasano
Dr. Fasano, Founder & Director of the Center for Celiac Research at University of Maryland.
Dr. Tom O’Bryan
Dr. O’Bryan’s research of gluten and its effects on all parts and systems of the body provide all those with Celiac Disease or gluten intolerance a better understanding.
Jules Shepard
Jules is a GF Girl herself and created Jules All Purpose flour and has since created other mixes with just the right blend of ingredients to create a positive GF baking experience.
Jennifer Hill, NP-C
Jennifer Hill has established and is the Director of THE FIT KIDS CLINIC and provides extensive education to students, patients, families, schools, and other healthcare providers about Celiac Disease.
Dr. Ted Malahias , DDS
Dr. Malahias specializes in the detection of Celiac Disease based on deformities in tooth enamel.
Cynthia Kupper, RD
Cynthia, the executive director of GIG, is also a registered dietician, focusing on Celiac Disease and gluten intolerance education.
