Hanging indents can also be done with Control + T.

To make this read more easily use hanging indents. You can create hanging
indents in the paragraph section of the menus. This automatically puts the
beginning of the line out at the margin, and indents the continuation of the
line if any.

Another way to get a similar effect is to use bullets. If you apply bullets
in the bullets and numbering section of the menus, this places a bullet out
at the margin to indicate the beginning of the line, and any run over is
indented.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Writing Song Lyrics in Word 2007

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to write out some song lyrics in Word 2007. One of the songs has
several lines where the last few words run over to a new line. For someone
reading the document, is it appropriate to have the lines that run over
indented to make it easier to read. If so, what is the best way to do this?
All help appreciated. Thanks.

Diane
