IE also provides an import/export feature in its file menu for copying to
a file (exporting) and importing a file for favorites, feeds, and cookies.
I regularly back-up those items on my pcs and use them for transferring
these items between pcs.
I have also followed Chris' approach of copying the Favorites folder
between pcs.
Both work just as well so it may be 6 of 1 or half a dozen of another
lmeaning that either approach will get the job done.
I do this all the time between a desktop and pc and have never experienced
any difficulties.
