There is a utility or way to move My Documents within Windows XP. If moved
that way XP moves the pointer automatically.
Unfortunately I am having a Senior Moment and cant remember how I moved it.
My Documents on my machine lives on my drive G.

I believe most programs will 'know" the new location automatically, but
you'll have to double check.
