I am wondering whether anyone on the west coast has been seriously monitoring the
Fukushima radiation situation, and to what extent one should place credence in films
like these. Are there reliable and uncensored sources of current information??

I think the idea of the northern hemisphere population migrating into the southern
hemisphere is a little extreme, and is fraught with problems of its own. I further
believe there are precautions we should know about, for example, whether it is safe
to buy wild Alaska fishes, and whether our soils are contaminated. First and foremost
might be to consider supplements and foods to protect against radiation toxicity.

Kelp, but not Pacific kelp, obviously, wakame seaweed from the Atlantic, and east
coast miso might be curative, and potassium iodide {which I currently take for thyroid
at the rate of 1 drop per day}, as well as all the major antioxidants might be good
considerations for anybody in the west coast states.

I also plan to purchase a geiger counter, and am not very informed yet. It must be
something which records Cesium 134, as well as 137...

Anybody out there who has complementary information, would probably be a help to
us all.
