Well, that's what I'm hoping.

The one 480 I'm keeping  is out in our RV, and is located somewhat further 
from where I'm sitting, so the fan noise tends to be less bothersome in that 
situation.

Tom,

I think you'll be very happy with the quietness of the fans in the 590.  You
may also notice that they don't go on as often as those in your 480.
