Hi All:

Yesterday, I attempted to install my new antenna but the weather was just too bad.
Wind and rain. However, we did manage to fix the windom for testing purposes. On the Yaesu FT-450, the windom successfully tuned on 80, 40, 20, 17 and 10.
Connected it to the TS-570, the antenna tuned successfully on the above mentioned bands including 30, 15, and 12. I'm beginning to suspect a problem with my Yaesu's tuner.
Keep in mind that when I 1ST installed the windom with the Yaesu, it tuned from 80 to 6.
I've now carted it back to my apartment for testing purposes.
If I hook a dummy load to the Yaesu and it tunes successfully from 160 to 6, would this indicate that there's nothing wrong with my internal tuner?
If the tuner does indeed have problems, shouldn't it behave the same on the dummy load?
