I have the Colortest 150 from APH. This is the older model, I believe that there is a newer one available. I have found it to be accurate, and it will tell you more than you want to know. In addition to just speaking the color, it will also give you values for hue, saturation, etc. The package includes a Braille chart that will help you make sense of the numerical values. It also doubles as a light detector. It is very expensive. I paid close to $600 for mine, and I think that the newer model is even more expensive. At the time I bought mine, it was the only such product available. Now, there are several, and most are less expensive, some much less expensive, but I cannot testify as to their accuracy. Hope this helps.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Color Identifiers

Hi all,

Has anyone ever used Colorino Color Identifier/Light Detector? If yes, what were your results? Also, if not, could anyone recommend a really nice color detector and where did you purchase it? Thanks in advance for your help!
