If you get stuck, and are using a version of windows before windows 7, I
have a Epson perfection 1240U here I no longer use, because my main computer
is windows 7 and there's no driver for it that I can find. I ran it through
Vista though with no problem. I'm in the process of moving now, if it might
do you some good, let me know. I don't know when I'd ship it out probably
next week at the soonest but keep it in mind if you can use it. I now run an
HP all in one for printing and scanning and it works very well, it's also
networked so not hooked to a computer directly so it's not even like I need
it for another of the many computers I setup so this Epson is excess to my
needs. Moving to a mobile home, there isn't a ton of storage, after the
hoops I jumped through to get that scanner, I'm not throwing it out but if
it can be used I'll get it to you, if not, I'll store it somewhere.
