Hi. Just to add to this the iPod touch is also available in a 64 gig if you
wanted something the size of the iPhone with more storage.

Hi Richard.

The I devices can most certainly be used with a blue tooth keyboard, and the
screen doesn't have to have a keyboard on it. I use VoiceOver to navigate
to apps and open them. It works quite well except you can't close the apps
once you open them. Apple has something called an app switcher which is
where apps can be accessed or closed. To close them you need to use the
touch screen, but it isn't hard once you figure out things.

As for size, you can get an iPhone with 32 gig of storage and have something
very compact. Add to this the mini blue tooth keyboards and you have a real
nice solution. Personally, I have an Apple blue tooth keyboard which is
about the size of a laptop keyboard, maybe a little smaller. It's really
easy to type on, and I used it in class to do in class assignments.

If it were me deciding what to get I'd get the iPhone. It does almost
everything the iPad does, except you only can get up to 32 gig of storage on
it, whereas the iPad has up to 64 gig.

Hope this is useful. I decided to send this to the entire list to give
others an idea of the device. To make this radio related, the I Devices are
radios. Not ham radios, but radios just the same.
