Hi Steve,
Do you know whether Digipan shows output on a Braille display? If
so, I wonder if shutting off JAWS and just reading the Braille would work? I
don't have the computer cable for the Ic706 MKIIG, yet, but I'll probably
get one, even if just to drive the rig from a software package and to do
RTTY. And that leads me to another question: What software do I need to
drive the IC706?

Hi Pierre,

Welcome to the list. Hope you got the long winded message I sent you
direct last night on RTTY and JAWS.

AS for Digitalk: A number of us on the list have either tried it or
used it for PSK in the past. Problem seems to be that it will only run
on Windows 98. Back in the early days of XP it crashed after some
Windows update or service pack update and has never worked properly on
any later Windows OS. If you or your friends can get it running on XP
or later, it would be interesting.

Another program to look at for PSK is Digipan. Problem here is that
JAWS repeats each word in the sentance as new words are added. Gets
old real fast, but the program itself is JAWS friendly. If you have
some computer savy friends helping you, this may be the one to look at.
