    Keith:

The TS480 speaks all button functions and menu items.  I canpt compare it 
with the TS2000, since I have never owned one, but the TS480 is the most 
blind friendly HF rig I have owned up to this point.

I place it on the same level of accessibility as the Kenwood TMV71A 
dual-band rig.

I can do everything I need to do independently without the need for any 
sighted assistance whatsoever.

I have two TS480's, and the only reason I'm selling one is to upgrade to the 
TS590 base rig.

How much does it speak,
menus, button functions, does it speak as well as the 2000, or, the TMG =
707, Just trying to get a reference point?
