You have your answer in the Import/export feature in Internet Explorer.
On your xp pc, export your favorites, feeds and even cookies (if you like)
to files on an external hard drive, thumb drive, whatever.
Then on your win8 pc, go into Internet Explorer and import the files.
You'll find the import/export listed under the files menu which you reach
by typing alt+f when in IE.
Incidentally, I periodically back up my bookmarks, feeds and cookies just
in case. So in the future, don't wait years doing this.
We are ready to leap forward in our Christian walk when we embrace
the unshakable reality that the universe revolves around God, not us.
