It's been a long time since I've used Outlook Express, and I don't
recall which spell checker I used, but Google lead me to the following:

From just reading the reviews, it looks like it's integrated into OE and
should be accessible. Maybe others using a spell checker with OE can
point you to the one they're using.

Another option would be to move to Windows Live Mail, which includes a
spell checker among other things.
