You could change your Enhanced Edit Support setting, JAWS Settings
Center in V12 and JAWS Configuration manager in previous versions. You
could then at least know if JAWS is selecting text as you select.

Subject: [VICUG-L] what to do about copy and paste? I need an answer
here!

Hi all,
I'm using a gateway nx100 laptop, running jaws for windows pro version
12.0512, and windows xp pro.
Here's what happens.
I go to the Washington state page of very small towns at
http://www.city-data.com/city/Washington3.html
Then, I select a town, (doesn't matter, just pick one, oh, for example
Lake Roesiger
Then, I go to
http://braille.wunderground.com/
and see the text box there, the first one? I try to paste in the name
of the town and it doesn't paste. So, then I have to go back to the
Washington page, and grab the town name again and copy it to the
clipboard, then, alt right arrow to the braille.wunderground.com
weather page, and try it again with control v, and then it pastes.
Sometimes, it doesn't even do it the second time. This is rediculous!
How do we solve this? Is it a jaws issue? Is it my keyboard? What is
it?
Harry
