That's the great thing about this world, people can have different
opinions and preferences, and still be accommodated.
I listen to synthetic speech for about 10 hours a day between work and
personal home computing. I read technical books with synthetic speech and
reference material like product manuals and such so that I can easily
search and save. But I would rather not even read a regular book if I
could only read it via synthetic speech. Just my personal preference, so
I completely support the NLS, audible.com, and any other organization that
produces human narrated books.
