A GPS can be used in a car, but it can also be used by a pedestrian. You
could also use it as a passenger in a car. Furthermore, you can use it ahead
of time to plan a route, whether you're a pedestrian or a passenger in a
car.

isn't gps used for cars? I was wondering what a blind person is going 
to do with a gps? I know that it is used for to find peoples houses.
