I wrote:

I received that personally from a US Government newsletter from the FDA.
I sent it to you because is seemed to me odd that the government
wasn't allowed to give my a general news digest but instead I had to
subscribe to newsletters about narrow categories of interest. It seemed
overly bureaucratic, an odd interpretation of rules. I found it funny.
I apologize if people read this and thought this iris list was closing.
We are not.
I enjoy passing along odd bits of information, and we have very nice
software, LISTSERV, offered by a disability-focused host, ICORS.ORG.
I appreciate those of you who wrote to let me know I confused you.
