The problem is that most programs, upon installation, also add items to 
your pc's registry.  

While this might not work, and as you have nothing to lose, here is what I 
would try if I were in your shoes:

Look for executable files (generally those with the .exe extension in 
their file names) in the program's folder.  Try running them and see if 
they will install themselves on your new pc.  Make certain, that before 
doing this, that you have copied the entire folder of files for that 
program.  It will probably fail; but then again, what is there to lose and 
everything to gain.
