I have the same experience as you, Todd. I seem to need a certain amount of protein to feel full, well and energetic. It is not a huge amount of protein, but I eat about a pound of meat including fat per day. I eat fattier cuts like chuck steak, rib steaks, chicken wings, turkey wings. Paula H.

My experience is rather different. If I attempt to keep protein and carbs both very low, and get that much energy from fat, my hunger is boundless. There is indeed a limit to how much fat I can consume, but that doesn't translate into satiety. It merely intensifies my desire for something other than fat.
