Gary:
Boy, we sure could use a Mardi Gras here in cold and snowy west-central
lower Michigan!!!!!
Have fun down there, and don't do anything I wouldn't do!
That should leave you lots of lattitude, I think!
Regarding the nets the week-end of March 5 and 6, thanks for the "heads up"
on the DX phone contest.
Certainly, that will create issues for our Sunday afternoon 20-meter
Cross-country blind ops net, but hopefully, the Saturday 40-meter round
table can proceed, as long as someone can take it since I'll be out of town
then.
Will see what happens, and, of course, do what is humanly possible to keep
our nets going.

Hi Tom,
It's Mardi Gras time here so my weekends will be filled up with parades and
parties so I won't make either net for the next few weekends.
The weekend of March 5th and 6th is the ARRL DX phone contest so the chance
of having any nets will be slim to none.

Steve and all:
For the 40-meter round table, there is no formal preamble. I just get
things started and go from there.
I should be around next Saturday: the 26th, to do the honors, but will be
unavailable the following Saturday: March 5, because I'll be out of town at
a professional conference.
Will certainly do what I can to keep things afloat when I'm available.
Again, I'm sorry about yesterday, but I just didn't get back from our EOC
work session in time to do the net.

I didn't hear anything, and I didn't think of starting the net myself, since
I hadn't written the preamble down.
But, 7188 area was pretty clear, there was a qso on 7187 but no traffic or
BC stations on 7188.
Let's definitely plan on next Saturday, whoever runs it.
