Hi Gary,

You might check the din plug on the back that you use to hook up the relay
and ALC. I've noticed on Kenwoods that sometimes it doesn't quite seat all
the way and a small wiggle and push will seat it the rest of the way. Also,
if it's an older amp, you might want to set menu 28 to 2 or 3 for slower
amps.

Good luck and hopefully I'll see you on net today. Very 73.

Subject: TS2000 with the amplifier

Well I got my TS2000 back from Cliff Holland and the receiver problem is
fixed and it now receives great. However, I cannot get the amplifier to
work with it. The only menu setting that I can find that has anything to do
with the amp is number 28. I've got menu 28A set to one which should have
the internal relay turned on. Does anyone know if there are any other
settings I need changed to get the amp working? Thanks for any suggestions.
