I couldn't agree with you more about this great group.

Sure, we have our little issues and disagreements at times, but isn't that
normal among friends?

The folks on this list have been with me during the fun times, and not so
fun times, and that has meant a great deal to me.

And, I like the list's tolerance for occasional "off topic" posts. There
are many knowledgeable people among us, and it is only natural to try to tap
into that wisdom when needed.

I made a few contacts in the 10-meter contest, but due to antenna issues, I
decided to play it safe and not push my luck. My best contact was with HK1R
from Colombia. He's in all the contests and had a booming 10-meter signal
in here, even with a questionable antenna.

I sure hope I get my antenna situation resolved here in time for the North
American QSO Party contests in January. Those are two of my favorite ham
radio events!

I don't want to leave, because I'm afraid I'll miss something, hi hi.

I think we really have a fun group. And, I really do learn a lot.

Tom, I listened around several times on 10 meters today and heard absolutely
nothing--not even a weak signal. This seems strange to me, but we, too,
were having a lot of wind and some snow so perhaps that had something to do
with it.
