We will be spending several days in late January at Hotel Del Coronado in the San Deigo area.  I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for restaurants in the area that are GF friendly.  The hotel's restaurants said they can accommodate dietary restrictions but seem to be rather pricey.  We will not have a car so within walking distance is preferred.  Taking the ferry across the bay to access the Gaslamp district is also possible.

Also wondered if there are any stores nearby that are good for GF groceries.
