No need for apologies.

We simply can't keep up with everything all the time.

The TW1 is for HF (including 6 meters, I think), and the TW2 is forVHF and 
UHF--I think also including 6 meters.

Both meters are made by LDG and have been discontinued.

The TW1 is basically impossible to get now, but there are still some TW2's 
around.  I think most people who have gotten TW2's recently have purchased 
them from:

www.cheapham.com

Tom and list, I haven't been following this thread as I should, so this is a
really stupid question.  What is the difference twbween the TW1 and TW2, and
are they both being discontinued?

I once got a very nice looking adapter at a flea market, only to discover
that it was absolutely useless because someone had glued it together after
it broke.  The trouble is that you don't know whether you're getting a great
deal, or just picking up someone else's trash.
