Something similar happened to me a while back.  I went in looking for 
PL259 coax connectors and the only thing they came up with was the TV 
type coax connector.  I went home and found the catalog number in 
their online catalog and went back.  What do you know but they had 
them!  I guess unless they get a lot of call for an item, they have 
no idea they have it in stock.
