Hello Anthony:
I am a mouse and a user of ZoomText so if you or your friend are using
another screen reader I have no idea how to communicate this to you. I E 7 &
8 has a zoom level feature. it is located in the bottom right corner of the
screen just above the clock calendar. I have no idea what keystrokes to use
to get down there to pull up the zoom menu to select a different zoom level.
Below is what i.e. help says.
Change webpage text size in Internet Explorer
This information applies to Windows Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Internet
Explorer 8.
You can make webpages easier to read by changing the text size. If you
change the text size, graphics and controls will remain in their original
size but the text size will change.
To change webpage text size
Click to open Internet Explorer.
Click the Page button, click Text Size, and then click the size you want.
Notes
This will change the size of text displayed in webpages, unless the text
size was explicitly set by the person who created the page. To learn how to
override text settings set by the person who created the webpage and use the
fonts you pick instead, see Change the colors and fonts used for webpages.
To increase the size of everything on a webpage, including graphics and
controls, use the zoom feature. For more information about zoom, see Zoom in
on a webpage.
