Hi, all.
Last night, I was just about blown away when a friend told me that I had
placed either 5th or 6th in Michigan in the CQWW 160 meter CW contest last
February. I had made only 152 contacts in that contest, compared to the 291
I made in the ARRL 160-meter contest this past week-end.
All of this is causing me to think that maybe I need to be a bit more
vigilent when it comes to finding out how I do in the various contests for
which I submit logs.
Is there a web site that one can go to to check contest results, or do you
have to go to the web site of each individual contest sponsor for those
results?
I say this because I think I remember that, a number of years ago, someone
mentioned a 3830 web site that supposedly publishes contest results. Has
anyone heard of this or a similar other web site? And if so, is it
accessible?
On a slightly different note, I'm having a few hams come over tomorrow
morning to help me troubleshoot my 10-meter interference problem, so I'll
let you know how it goes.
If luck and the electromagnetic gods are in my favor, I'll be able to do the
10-meter contest for a time later tomorrow, and all day Sunday.
Thanks, and 73 from Tom Behler: KB8TYJ
