Have you tried a demo of Window eyes or the free screen reader NVDA to see
if this still happens?

software?

        David:

I am a Jaws user, and have experienced exactly this same problem with many
of the N3FJP programs.

I have asked Scott Davis about it, and he is at a loss for an explanation.

I have tried the various solutions you have suggested, with no luck either.

If you or anyone succeed in solving this issue, please let us all know
because, as you say, it can be a bit of a pain when in the heat of a
contest.
