Tom,
First off, congrats on the new toy. Hope you will be very happy together.
I had seen some posts here a month or 2 ago about guys getting rejected
from the 590 list. I signed up via e-mail several weeks ago and had
no problem. I have no idea how this stuff works, but wondering if it
is possible that since my e-mail address contains my call sign it would
be easy for a moderator to look me up and confirm a valid call, then
approve me for the list?
Perhaps if your e-mail provider allows you to open another account, you
could open one as kb8tyj@whatever and try that. Or maybe they just
reject out of hand requests from gmail or stuff like that. And of
course it is possible they just don't like you.
Luckily for me, I didn't have to deal with the web sign up as others had
to do.
