lol perhaps if you got someone elses wiring harness you'd mistake it yes.
either way, as long as one wire or the other is well marked from the other
or differently marked to determine which is which.
Sometimes, when working with multi-conducter cables and such, I'll use
multiple knots to denote other colors or other paths that I'm working with.
of course, with the talking multi-meter, all this is not really necesary,
but I still knot the posative wire so I don't always have to use the meter
to determine polarity.
