    Yeah, I know, Steve.

Well, like I said earlier, the thing still works with some fiddling, so I 
have to count my blessings that way.

It sounds like dioxit might be the best cleaner, so if anyone knows where to 
get some, that might be my best bet.

Will keep monitoring responses to this thread for other thoughts.

Tough call Tom.    Too bad you didn't know this sooner, you could have
sent it in while the  rest of your station was  sort of out of whack.

You might try some of the suggestions for cleaning, and if no success,
pick a good time to send it in and with any luck the turn around time
will not be  so long.
