Well, if LDG is willing to replace the control, I think I'd take them up on
that offer even though it means you'll be without the meter for three weeks.
Based on their response, I wonder if contact cleaner would even work in that
situation. If the control is sealed, you might very well not be able to
spray anything in there anyway, and that's probably the case since you're
dealing with a small control. I suppose you might convince someone to try
to do the replacement for you, but I think I'd just ship it off to LDG and
let them do the work. At least that way, you'd have some recourse if
anything went wrong.
