Hey, everyone.
Well, it looks like I'll be off the HF frequencies at least for a little
while again.
The 10-foot piece of PVC pipe that is attached to the 30-foot mast that
holds the centers of both my Carolina Windom and my Alpha Delta DXCC
antennas became a victim to the high winds we had recently. The PVC
extension is now bent at a 90-degree angle, which is causing both antennas
to sag close to the ground in spots.
Have already put the call out for help, but with the Michigan QSO Party and
crummy weather coming this week-end, I don't expect that help to materialize
for a good week or so.
If anyone has any suggestions as to a better type of pipe to put at the top
of my 30-foot mast as an extension, feel free to shoot those suggestions my
way.
At least I'll get my HF fix this week-end, when I do the Michigan QSO Party
from one of our local EOC's. (grin)
