I put a solid CW ossilator tone from my keyer into the microphone and got
the desired effect, that is, the proper output reading. Whistling, and
getting that button pushed and listening to the voice read the output, is
like me patting my balding head, walking, and chewing gum at the same time.
Ain't possible any more. I just about have the CW output and the audio
output signals matched which is what I wanted in the first place. The audio
gain setting on the Icom 7000 is super touchy and easily over modulates.
