Hi All:

Just thinking about my windom VS G5RV configuration. Right now, the long leg of my windom, 80 feet, runs somewhat north/south between the tower and a tree.
I don't think I can suspend the G5RV here. The short leg of the windom runs somewhat east/west, 52 feet, from the tower to a tie off outside the shack, 8 feet off the ground and about 3.5 feet away from the wall of the house.

Configuration 1:

Run the G5RV in to this kind of L shape, configuration. 51 feet east/west from tie off outside the house to tower, 51 feet north/south from tower to tree,
add 29 feet of rope to tie off the north/south leg, with the ladderline section dropping down near the north/east corner of my tower,
keeping it about 6 inches clear of the tower with a standoff.

Configuration2.

Run the G5RV from the tower, somewhat in a north/east direction to a tree, I think is a little bit more then 102 feet away from my tower,
across the roof of the house, with the ladderline section dropping down to the: not quite middle of the roof, may hang about 3 or 4 feet above it.
Tree end won't be quite 25 Feet. Tower end, about 55 feet.
