I am saddened to here of your trouble out there on the left coast, hmm, did 
I say left, well I thought the left wanted us all to be dependent on someone 
else!!

If I could drive, I'd drive out there just to help.

Here is a possible solution, visit your local senior citizens center and see 
if you could hire someone for a few hours.  If you know what needs to be 
done, but just need sighted help to read, than this may work.  If they are 
cooperative and willing to work with you this could work.
