thanks lou, what i was using for the last 3 years served me well but
this new k3 reader is just like i was looking at the display. when i
turn a knob it automatically speaks no computer no screen readers i
have it sitting on top of my k3 and it is about 5.5 inches long 4
inches deep and 1.5 inches high and has a 16 button keypad on the top
left and a speaker grill to the right of the keypad and you can enter
a freq on either the k3 reader or via the keypad on the radio. so if
you have it sitting next to the k3 you can enter the freq that way
rather than on the radio. that way you don't take the chance of
bumping the main tuning knob. you have great access lou, take care,
c u 73 mike w6quv
