I guess I'm one of the young old-timers as I have been licensed for 33 years
since 1978. I must say that I enjoy amateur radio just as much as I did
when I was a freshly minted ham.

I do remember the BTP as I saw a copy from time to time in the years before
I was licensed. I in addition had the pleasure of personally knowing Bob
Gunderson W2JIO. He lived in Oldbridge New Jersey and I was about 25 or 30
miles north of him.
