Oh, Kevin, everything is under control.
The camp site happens to be about 15 miles east northeast of the home QTH,
so whatever weather happens will likely hit the home front first.
Plus, I am Skywarn Co-ordinator and resident weather geek for our county, so
hopefully, nothing will happen that will take me by total surprise.
But, as you say, you never know, which is why I'm asking someone else to be
available if for some reason I am not at home, or can't get on the air
because of the weather.

Hi Tom.
Have fun camping, but if I were you I may not recommend doing the 40 meter
net from home. Reason I say this is that whatever weather you get for your
camp site may sneak its way home, and you know how well lightning and radio
gear get along.
Have fun camping, and hopefully you will be there the entire weekend.
GO REDS!
